Anything Box – Living In Oblivion (The Living Mix) Epic – 49 73156 1990
I see little tennis shorts every time I see this album cover. Yes Wake me Up Before You Go was the first song I ever heard from this group. It was a mixed feeling on how I felt about that song. Part of me was really liking it and the other was saying, ” You’re not supposed to like that because you listen to AC/DC and Judas Priest!!” Yeah, hard rock was the way to go back then until I embraced it and accepted it that it really was a good (catchy) song. Keep in mind I was about 12 years old and there really isn’t much a 12 year old would know but just trying to find an identity for himself. Now this particular song, Everything She Wants - heard the bass line and was instantly hooked. “Now this record kicks ass for sure I said!” Since then, I have always been a fan of George Micheal. I was very pleased to be able to work on a project for George years later in the studio along side legendary producer Tony Moran. The man that introduced me to iced coffee. Mocha to be exact. Thanks Tony!
Everything She Wants
Wham! – Make It Big Columbia – FC 39595 LP 1984
Better known for ” I Got a Man”, I can now realize how this record has been missed through the years. C’mon, yeah baby c’mon the video with the Gucci jacket, flat top,4 finger ring, and the dancing on the rooftop! It’s an all time classic. Pos K was also know for the duet with MC Lyte “I’m Not Havin’ It”. Thanks to Uncle Ralph and Video Music Box for showing these videos back then. Always good memories and good music

This is an all time classic for all of you house heads out there!! A must for every party. Although it is a record from the 90’s, for some reason I thought it came out in the late 80’s. I can never get tired of listening and dancing to this jam-always a favorite at every party

Breakdancing was taking front stage as the world was taken back to this new dancing. Some called it a fad, some just dissed it all together. Fast forward to present day 2011 and it’s still a popular drink!
